Hi, Kids Elite families!
We hope you are safe and doing your best to hang in there during this time. Today the Mayor provided city-wide updates that impact Kids Elite. Please take a few minutes to read these important updates regarding our summer programs:
- Because the city will likely remain in Phase 1 (according to DC’s reopening plan), we will not operate in-person camps this summer.
We will provide free online content to help you and your children remain active and healthy.
If DC moves to Phase 2, we will explore modified in-person camp options, based on the guidance given by city health and government officials.
We understand how challenging the past couple of months have been, and we could have never imagined that we would not be able to gather together for fun-filled, exciting camp days over the summer. Together, we will all get through this. Families, businesses, schools, and our entire community have been hit hard. Let’s do all we can to support one another as we continue to stay strong, stay healthy, and stay hopeful!
For those that have already paid for camp this summer, we humbly ask that you allow us to credit your account for the 2021 camp season. We also ask you to continue to support our long-time camp sponsors in the Tenleytown/Chevy Chase community—Robek’s, Angelico’s, I’m Eddie Cano, and Chick-fil-a.
If for some reason, you cannot opt to transfer your camp registration for this summer to next summer, we will share steps for full refunds beginning June 1st as we truly understand the financial strain that many families are experiencing.
Thank you for your continued support. Stay safe and stay active!
